Easy Electronic Starting
Step #1
Electronic heating elements create a
cherry red glow in
the bottom of the
fire pot at 1500
degrees F.
Step #2
Computer chip is activated, engaging
auger, feeding corn
into the fire pot
with instant ignition
on contact with
the heating element.
Step #3
Air-flow creates a hotter, more efficient
burn, reducing the amount of ash.
Step #4
The specially designed agitator is engaged to more efficiently distribute the corn for
a better burn and to prevent clinkers.
Product Features
Corn Fuel Access
Extra large storage bin.
(Optional)
Heat Distribution Fan
On forced air furnace -
maximizes the heat
transfer through the
air flow chamber.
Power Outage/Low Fire Safety Switch
Electrical failure & low
fire safety switch designed to shut off the corn feeder and stop the corn from going into the fire chamber
and prevent overfill.
The Patent Pending
Year-A-Round Corp.
furnaces are
clean
burning and clinker free.

The Year-A-Round Corp. Furnace Control Panel can be set to create and regulate a
comfortable heating area.
Air-Flow Auger
creates a spreading effect for greater distribution of corn in the fire pot, increasing BTU output and efficiency.
Electronic Heating Element
At 1500° F., the electronic heating element creates instant heat as the corn kernels fall on it and creates an easy, safe and clean start up.

Easy Access
By simply removing 2 bolts, you can completely remove
the heating unit.

NEW FOR 2008!

The 2008 Corn Burning Furnaces are now in stock. New features include:

Stainless Steel Sleeves
Stainless steel tubing slipped over the existing teeth
Made of 235 MA material.

the tubing to brush against the inside of the pot.

Computer
New Computer has been completely re-programmed.

Delay Agitator Switch
Starts and stops agitator in accordance with the operators desires.
Agitator has intermittent stops. This switch allows the fire to burn hotter,
longer, and more efficiently.

Manually Adjust the Air Flow, Without Removing the Fire Pot
There is an adjustment screw that can be turned in either direction to control the
flow of air. This adjustment will allow the fire pot and the gasfire to burn hotter,
longer, and more efficiently.

Combination of new 2hp electric motor and newly updated fan contributes
to higher air output and quicker operation.

YAR Corn Dryer Pre-Heater

Year-A-Round Corporation’s Model 1500 Corn Dryer Pre-Heater heats and dries incoming air to supplement or replace existing LP systems

Year-A-Round Corporation’s Model 1500 Corn Dryer Pre-Heater heats and dries incoming air to supplement or replace existing LP systems. The firepot burning area is 21" wide x 96" long and is equipped with a large 2 hp squirrel cage type fan that pulls more air and assists the gasifier in the combustion of excess gas while greatly increasing the overall heat generated. A continuous stirring agitator also assists in generating extra heat and eliminating clinkers. The combustion exhaust system flows directly through the corn dryer and greatly increases overall heat retention and efficiency. The YAR Pre-Heater generates approximately 4 million BTUs and offers electric start.

To install, the YAR PreHeater is simply lined up and bolted to the existing fan housing of the corn dryer.

CORN IS ENERGY

Corn can produce 9000 to 10,000 btu's per pound that equals 560,000 btu's per bushel of corn.
One bushel of corn = 5.5 gal of LP gas
One bushel of corn = 3.6 gal of fuel oil
One bushel of corn = 146 KWH of electricity
One bushel of corn = 5.40 ccf of natural gas

CORN IS A RENEWABLE RESOURCE

It would take 4 million years to produce crude oil, 40 years to grow a tree and 4 months to grow a
bushel of corn.

AVAILABILITY

Corn can be produced in at least 45 states in the U.S. The corn belt states of Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois,
and Nebraska account for 50% of the corn grown in the U.S.

SUPPLY

The number of bushels of dry shelled corn produced in the U.S. is more than double that of any other
grain crop.  Last year more than 9.5 billion bushels of corn was produced in the U.S. and 7.5 billion
bushels was consumed, leaving a surplus of 2 billion bushels.

CORN IS PRODUCED IN AMERICA

Not dependent of foreign politics or an oil cartel.

CORN IS A LOW COST SOURCE OF ENERGY

When the price of corn goes up farmers try to produces more corn to make more money.  When the
price of corn goes down farmers try to increase their yields per acre.  Due to over production world-
wide and the increase yield per acre prices have stayed relatively the same over the years.

BI-PRODUCT

Bi-Products can be used or sold for potting soil additive.

GENERATED BENEFICIAL CO-2

When corn is burning the resulting gas created is carbon dioxide.  The carbon dioxide is then absorbed
again by plants to replenish and to grow.  As a result oxygen is produced by the plants; therefore it
continues to replenish the cycle of nature.  When corn is burned, in reality it produces very little odor.
