What are Flax naturally ® Lignans ?
|
|
Our lignans are a
Full Spectrum Lignans product that are mechanically extracted from the
flax seed hull. Our product is a unique group of phytonutrients and
contains several types of lignans, in particular, SDG Lignans (Secoisolariciresinal
diglucoside). Flax lignans are classified as phytoestrogens, a
compound that occurs naturally in plants, and may be useful to help
maintain normal hormone balance. Flax hull lignans contain soluble and
insoluble fiber. Fiber is an important component of a healthy diet.
Full Spectrum Lignans can be included in the daily diet for additional
nutrient value. |
