Our grain cleaning system uses a Neuero pneumatic positive displacement air system for gentle handling to prevent cracking to deliver the grain to a IDEAL 8 drum mill. After it is cleaned and sized by the drum mill it is run over a Forsberg Gravity Table for more uniform seed and stronger seedlings at planting time. We have a holding capacity of 1,300 bushels of dirty grain. The clean seed is delivered to a 1,600 overhead bin by another air system which cleans out well and reduces the chance of mixed grain when switching varieties or crops. A another 1,600 bu. overhead bin is used for the cleanout grain and dockage. These bins work excellent for loading semis. We can clean between 200-300 bushels per hour. We are also capable of separating mixed grains. Example (barley from wheat or durum) The piping to the bins is connected with Morris Couplers.

The system has proved to be very useful over the years. It has provided us with a way to increase the quality the products we produce.

At harvest or when we clean grain we dump in a pit
and the grain is either delivered to the dryer or cleaning system. We have been very happy with the its operation. It is not a high capacity system, but it will do about 800 Bu. per hour at the greatest distance or 1,100 to the closest. The system was installed in 1986
and has been nearly trouble free.

The Diverter valve eliminates the need for piping each bin separately. The valve is available in 4-6-8 inch sizes.
